How to Earn $70,000 as a Beginner in Dropshipping: A Step-by-Step Guide
Earning $70,000 as a beginner in dropshipping within 30 days may sound like an impossible task, but it's achievable with the right approach. When I started dropshipping almost a year ago, I faced challenges and doubts. However, with consistent effort and extensive trial and error, I cracked the code and my store continues to generate revenue. In this guide, I'll walk you through the entire process, from product research to effective advertising methods, including secret strategies for selling and advertising on TikTok.
The first step is to find the product. To do this, create a burner TikTok account solely for product research. Use this account to explore TikTok trends such as 'TikTok Made Me Buy It,' 'Amazon Finds,' and 'I Want a Refund.' Interact with the content to prompt the algorithm to show you more relevant videos. Always filter for videos of the current month to discover upcoming, less saturated trends with higher chances of success.
While many advise going for products with millions of views, I chose a slightly untapped product for better results. This approach helped me achieve success in dropshipping, and I hope it will be beneficial to you as well. If you found this guide helpful, please like and subscribe for more valuable content. How I Found a Winning Product in the Women's Beauty Niche
As an experienced e-commerce entrepreneur, I understand the importance of finding new trends with high demand and positive feedback. When searching for a potential winning product, it is crucial to identify new trends with substantial views and a strong indication of consumer interest. Although I am unable to disclose the specific product that has contributed to my ongoing success, I can share that it belongs to the women's beauty niche, which happens to be one of my favorite areas to explore. The journey to discovering this product began with a serendipitous encounter on my burner account. As I scrolled through, a unique product caught my attention, and I was instantly intrigued by its novelty. This initial reaction served as a promising sign, as it aligned with the type of audience response I aim to elicit with potential winners. To delve deeper, I employed various product research strategies, examining factors such as market competition, account performance, and sales tracking. It became evident that the product was relatively new to the market, with limited competition and strong performance indicators across various stores. To further validate my findings, I utilized dropship.io to analyze sales data and confirmed that the product was indeed a lucrative opportunity. Upon investigating the product source, I discovered that the supplier was offering it for as low as three dollars on AliExpress, presenting a significant profit margin. The competition was not intense, providing a favorable environment for capitalizing on this emerging trend in the women's beauty niche.
How to Optimize Your Shopify Store for TikTok and Instagram Reels
When I first started using TikTok and Instagram Reels to promote my products, I realized the potential for great profit margins. One key step was to source the product from Amazon and create engaging content with it. While waiting for the product to arrive, I took the opportunity to set up my Shopify store. If you're interested in a dedicated tutorial on creating a Shopify store, let me know in the comments, like the video, and follow me on Instagram. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or if you need assistance. Utilize free themes and customize them to suit your brand. Consider using apps like JamPages or PageFly for custom landing pages. Once the product arrived, it was time to focus on content creation. I made sure to pre-record several TikToks in advance to ensure consistency in posting—aiming for at least three times a day, if not more. For those venturing into TikTok organically, here are some valuable tips: pre-film as much content as possible in one day, share your content on Instagram Reels, research your competition and niche, and recreate viral videos within your niche. Furthermore, leverage trending sounds by exploring TikTok's music playlist. By scrolling through the playlists, you can find popular sounds to incorporate into your content.
Optimizing Your TikTok Content for Dropshipping Success
When it comes to TikTok content for dropshipping, there are a few key strategies you can implement to increase your chances of success. First, consider using the US Hot 50 if you're selling in the US, but the TikTok Viral list is also a great option to find trending sounds. It's essential to ensure that your videos are of high quality, free from shakiness, lagginess, or blurriness, as viewers tend to skip low-quality videos. Avoid using the transition effects provided by the TikTok app, as they can make your videos appear unprofessional and low quality. For editing outside of TikTok, I recommend using CapCut for editing and 11 Labs for voiceover videos. Now, it's important to address the reality of dropshipping. Many beginners come in with the expectation of quick results, but success in dropshipping requires dedication and continuous learning. It involves a lot of testing, including ads, products, and content. Success doesn't come instantly; it requires daily study and perseverance. Even with previous dropshipping success, specific products may still require a significant effort to make them successful. Understanding this reality is crucial for anyone looking to thrive in the dropshipping business.
How I Optimized My Videos for Viral Success on TikTok
When I first started posting videos on TikTok, I faced challenges with low views ranging from 500 to a maximum of 2,000. However, I was able to turn things around by delving deep into my niche and conducting thorough research. Instead of replicating the content of businesses promoting my products, I began seeking out similar products and analyzing how their viral videos could be adapted to work for my own products. I even borrowed hooks from some successful TikToks, recognizing the crucial role of hooks in capturing the audience's attention within the first few seconds of a video. Additionally, I made it a point to identify trending elements within my niche and incorporate these trends into my videos. This approach led to a significant breakthrough when my first video reached 10k views and resulted in my first two sales. I persisted by consistently posting content that had proven to be effective. After two days, I was amazed to discover that one of my videos had garnered almost 1 million views, propelling my content to viral status. It's important to note that this success was achieved only after three weeks of low views and extensive efforts in content creation, research, and learning from failures. While this didn't immediately translate into $70k, I effectively leveraged my viral video by using it as an advertisement. This involved visiting the TikTok ad library and initiating a test campaign for my product, utilizing my viral TikTok as the creator. I set up a campaign with five ad groups, allocating a budget of $100,000 to further capitalize on the momentum generated by my viral video.
Optimizing Paid Ads for Scalable Sales
I was able to generate hundreds of dollars per day by optimizing my paid ads. When I first started, I had a viral video which gave me confidence that my strategy would work. On the very first day of running the campaign, I made $250 in sales and achieved profitability. This experience taught me that I had more control over paid ads, making them more scalable. I continued to increase budgets and scale until I was making up to $3k per day. While this may sound technical, I plan to create a video explaining my TikTok ad strategy in the future. Through this ad strategy and scaling, I ended the month with sales totaling 69.65k. After calculating the profits, where each product cost me $3 and was sold for $20, I discovered that my cost per purchase was about $8-9, depending on the day. This meant that I profited around $8-9 per sale as well. Overall, my profit was around $27-28k, which I consider quite successful, especially considering the advertising costs. I hope these insights and strategies can help you achieve similar success. If you enjoyed this video, please remember to like and subscribe.
